    What’s Happening in the SouthSide Arts District

    The Southside Arts District is the Lehigh Valley’s home for art, entertainment, shopping, and dining. From our vast art galleries to our unique boutiques, fantastic restaurants, and special events, the SouthSide Arts District is one of the most eclectic places to live, work, and play! Here’s what’s happening in the SouthSide this summer:

    July 15th – 21st; Summer Restaurant Week

     

    A culinary experience across the world, right in your own backyard! Featuring more than 20 different restaurants showcasing cuisines from the far east of Asia, the deep heart of Italy, to the southern borders of Mexico, and more. Take your taste buds on an adventure a world apart, without the airfare.

    June – August; Screen on the Green

     

    In partnership with Community Action Development and Zoellner Arts Center, SouthSide Arts District welcomes families to Zoellner’s gorgeous gardens for a brand-new movie night series. Bring your popcorn and a blanket and join this fun, free event! Lawn games and entertainment will be provided. Movies start at sundown!

    June 7th, July 5th, August 2nd; Summer First Fridays

     

    On the First Friday of every month, the SouthSide Arts District comes to life, celebrating arts, culture, and music. Guests are invited to visit local art galleries, unique boutiques, salons, and shops, all while enjoying food and drink samples and specials. The evening also features homegrown concert series showcasing local musicians in many shops and restaurants of Third & Fourth Streets.

    June – October; Out to Lunch, Concert Series

     

    Take yourself out to lunch and enjoy a concert at one of SouthSide’s signature lunch restaurants in the SouthSide Arts District! Each month one restaurant will feature a musician every Friday to help you kick off your weekend. Enjoy delicious lunch specials, pop up vendors, and a free intimate concert to rock your lunch break.

    June 15th; Sip & Slide Summer, Cocktail Crawl

     

    Summer has arrived! Celebrate with sidewalk sales, live music, and a delicious summer-themed Cocktail Crawl. Purchase your passport online or onsite at the SouthSide Arts District office at 324 South New Street to enjoy 10 different sample-sized cocktails from your favorite SouthSide restaurants and shops! Must be 21 to join the fun. Passports on sale now!

    October 26th; Fall for the SouthSide, Greenway Festival

     

    When the air turns brisk, it’s time to celebrate Autumn in South Bethlehem. The Festival will include live music, haunted storytellers, “Taste of SouthSide” wine & food passports, fresh produce and flowers, fall-themed family activities, and an Urban Pumpkin Catapult competition! Wee Ghouls and Goblins can come in costume to trick- or-treat with SouthSide shops & vendors, and make sure you bring your appetite for the Lehigh Pizza “Eat A Wing” Competition!
